My name is Hal Teasler and I was born in Memphis, TN and raised in the great state of Mississippi. I am a compulsive doodler and thinker. Early in my career I was really inspired by the sketchbooks of Leonardo Da Vinci. Not only was he a great artist/painter/designer, but he was also a brilliant thinker. That’s why I created Spiralbound Graphics. I feel like my best work comes from the ideas I put in my sketch books.
What I love most about Graphic Design is that it is an art of visual communication. You have the ability to creatively organize information to craft a message for your intended audience. One great image can sum up what a thousands of words cannot.
Currently I am living in Starkville,MS and studying Graphic Design at Mississippi State University.
Author Malcolm Gladwell has a theory that in order to be great at anything you need at least 10,000 of experience. I don’t know my exact total, but I’ve been designing things and drawing all my life and I feel that I’m pretty close to that mark. I’ve worked hard and have always tried to learn new things to become a more effecient designer. I have done designs for print, video, and web.
